No more HUGE crickets
No more darkness
No more having to go to Jared's parents to do laundry
No more human dish washer
No more clutter
No more parking in the street
No more cob webs EVERYWHERE
No more having to store clothes in boxes
No more cockroaches
But then again...
No more love shack
No more cute little old people
No more home decorated by ME
NO MORE BASEMENT APARTMENT
No more having to go to Jared's parents to do laundry
No more human dish washer
No more clutter
No more parking in the street
No more cob webs EVERYWHERE
No more having to store clothes in boxes
No more cockroaches
But then again...
No more love shack
No more cute little old people
No more home decorated by ME
NO MORE BASEMENT APARTMENT
We are "house sitting" for three years for Jared's mom's best friend, while her and her husband are on their mission. They are serving a service mission for two years in Bosnia and Serbia for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
While Jared and I have been married we have been so blessed in the "hosing" department. We found the basement apartment through a good friend and only paid $300.00 a month for rent which included utilities (yes, a crazy steal). We had wonderful landlords who were really more like friends and we never had to move once (until now). We made the basement our home; decorating and painting as we pleased. When we decided that we were going to move, we actually got sad. We had grown to really like it. It was comfortable and it had became our home.
But although moving out of our first little place was hard, we have had no problems adjusting to our "new house." We will always remember our first place and all the wonderful memories we made...
2 Thoughts:
yay for a new place!
Aw! I love this picture. It will always be remembered!
