This is the recipe for a wonderful and easy to make munchy food! This is the stuff I made at the tailgate this last weekend. I defiantly recommend it, but I will warn you it makes a lot more than you think.
1 bag stick pretzels
1 bag bugels
1 (12 oz) box Crispex cereal
1 can mixed nuts
&
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 cup light Karo Syrup
Preheat oven to 250. In a large roasting pan combine pretzels, bugels, crispex, and nuts. In a small sauce pan combine sugar, butter, and karo syrup. Boil for 2 minutes. Pour liquid mixture over crunchy ingredients and stir well. Bake at 250 for 45 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes with a spatula from the bottom of the pan up. This is the most important step, otherwise ingredients will stick together and it will be impossible to remove from pan.
**If you don't like any of the crunchy ingredients than you substitute by using actual Chex Mix or doubling one of the other ones***
Thanks to Stephanie (from Bunco) for this great recipe!
