Daily Labors

On Monday Jared and I gained a greater appreciate for the daily labors of our ancestors. First we picked strawberries with my mom at Washinton Farms, which is very fun, but after 5 minuets of bending over the appreciation for those that once did that as a job kicks in. Then later that day Jared and I help chopped a tiny tree down at Jared's mom's house, which is something our ancestors did all the time to build their houses. I couldn't even imagine... Jared and I are so thankful for everything this day and age offers us!

TIMBER....

Jared says, "Well that was easy"

Katy- you and Jared are so stinkin cute. It reminds me of our 1st yr. of marriage, b/c we enjoyed doing so much stuff together and always had fun doing it, even if it was choppin a tree down! And now that you have strawberries- you can make that yummy freezer jam Jenny showed ya earlier!

Haha - I'm laughing at everybody's comments about how cute you look - that's exactly what I was thinking! Mary and I picked strawberry's last week and we looked like pretty scary by the time we were done, and we didn't do any of that chopping down a tree business!
