So we had one crazy night of snow and it wrecked havoc for three days where we lived. School was canceled, roads where icy, but honestly we weren't complaining. Jared and I loved the "big" snow we got!
The night it snowed we had some friends come over, but we noticed that the driveway was getting pretty thick, so we found some snow shovels and got to work!
Luckily our friend arrived safely

That night I prepared a YUMMY breakfast casserole to pop in the oven for the next morning
When we woke up I looked out the front door of the house and this is what it looked like

After taking a million pictures we attempted to "sled" down our front yard with plastic container lids, but it was VERY unsuccessful
Later that night we trudged the snow to go to a friend's house to watch the BCS National Championship game....
On the way there we saw this Jeep stuck in a ditch and while slowing down to see "how they slid in" we slid into the ditch ourselves. Luckily my babe has some CRAZY good driving skills and got us out without a problem!
During half time we decided to use boogie boards to "sled" down the icy street which seemed to work okay
But the boys weren't satisfied, so they got creative and used someone's recycling bin
But THEN they got smart and saw a "real" sled in someone front yard, so we "borrowed" that instead
While we were having fun I will admit that I slipped and fell on my tail bone, which knocked the wind out of me and was quite scary, but all is well know and I still LOVE the snow!Jared and I hope there is more to come!
