UGA Army ROTC hosted another 5k Memorial Run in honor of Josh and other fallen soldiers. It just so happened that this year it fell on September 11th, so it was also in honor of that day too. The opening ceremonies were held in the University of Georgia Sanford Stadium, which was pretty cool. They had an amazing a cappella choir sing the national anthem and Jared gave the opening prayer! The race had a good turn out! This year I decided not to run so that I could see the winners at the beginning, which was fun to watch!
