Skeet Shooting

During the 4th of July weekend Jared set-up an unofficial church activity to go skeet shooting at The Jones farm/land. I had only shot guns once a long time ago when I was in maybe 4th or 5th grade, so this was pretty much a brand new experience.

Lillie was a natural, but we both thought the "big boy" guns had a little too much kick back for us

So Daniel was nice enough to let Lillie and I shoot his 22 Henry which was SOO much better

I feel in love with that gun


Lillie and I decided to set up a box target since the 22 bullets are too small to hit the skeet

I didn't hit the X my first round, but I did my second.
The boys had a good ole' time shooting skeet. It was a very enjoyable experience especially once Daniel brought out the 22. Maybe one day I will be "man enough" to be able to shoot the lower gauges, but for now I'm going to add a 22 to my Christmas list. (Oh and Santa...could you make it pink!)
