Life isn't perfect...neither are relationships. They are both constantly changing, evolving, maturing, growing, etc. With that being said, Jared and I have the occasional discussion/argument/disagreement...or whatever you want to call it. These moments give us the chance to mature and grow as a couple. The other day we had one of "those" and because it was very close to "that time of month" I got overly emotional. I began to cry and fall apart (not something I enjoy doing). Thinking of it now, I remember Jared's facial expression something like, "how did that button get pushed?" Poor guy! A little while later the "talk" was over, the tears were gone, hugs and kisses were exchanged, Jared had left to go play hockey, and this is what was left...

A little bathroom note written with Sharpie on our toilet paper. Some people don't like this sort of thing, but for me it melts my heart and enables me to forget about the little things and focus on the bigger perspective...which is that above all the discussions, disagreements or supposed faults we find in one another, we still love each other and I couldn't imagine being with anyone else....he truly is my better half. For as long as I have known Jared, he has always been so good at writing little notes/letters that never cease to surprise me and I hope they never stop!
