"Derived from the word "hippos', the Greek word for horse, the term "hippotherapy" literally means treatment or therapy aided by a horse" (wiki). Before working with Katie and never knew such therapy existed, but I must say that it is fascinating. Katie is currently working on gaining better balance and trunk control.
I am continually amazed by all the things I learn while working with Katie... I sure love that girl!

She is so sweet! I have always loved the idea of hippotherapy. If I wasn't already so far into the education field, I would switch to PT just so I could do this!
