April Fools!

This year I played two good April Fools jokes.
The first one was on my teacher. On Monday I sent out an email to my classmates that I wanted to play a little April Fools joke on Dr. Jones, everyone agreed and was excited. So the plan was....class starts at 8:00a.m. so at 8:30a.m. (according to my cell phone time) everyone would look at me and when I stood up everyone else would stand and walk out of the classroom. When 8:30 rolled around Dr. Jones was involved in a very deep discussion so I thought it would be rude to interrupt her trend of thought, so when she was done I looked around the room and got nods from other classmates and I stood up and walked out of the room. Because there are some real party poopers in this world a few girls stayed back, but the majority played along. When Dr. Jones caught she came into the hall and we all yelled, "April Fools!" and this was her lovely expression! It was awesome! By the way she has turned out to be one of my favorite teacher at UGA, i'm truly going to miss her!

The other April Fools joke was played on my Bunco Group which was held that night. Most Bunco groups play for money, but we played for gifts. Everyone brings a $10 and they are divided in order of who ever gets the most points, buncos, etc. Each month there is a theme that determines what sort of gift we need to bring. The theme for April was "what makes you hoppy (happy)" so as an April Fools joke I brought a tacky picture frame with a picture of Jared and I in it. I told my group that Jared and I make me happy and I know that having a picture of us in their home would make them happy too. The look on some of their faces was hilarious. They didn't believe me, but when I told them I was serious they gave me the, "OOOOKAY whatever" face. Then I said April Fools and showed them the real gift I brought. All-in-all it was a very successful and funny April Fools!
