FJ40 Build Day 1

Memorial Weekend The Reeves Family and a whole lot of other family (community members near and far) took part in re-building Josh's (Jared's brother) Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. I could explain the whole story, but this article does a better job!
The weekend started on Friday with the vehicle looking like this...

The first part that was painted...looked so clean!

Jared putting in a little elbow grease

This is Rob he flew in from California just to donate his time and skills to work on the truck

James

Mr. Reeves (no relation) is a fire fighter from near Atlanta and he stayed the whole weekend
James and Steve (the man you got the whole re-build going)

Then someone had a bright idea that I should work on the truck too...YIKES!
Rob was my teacher

Then someone had another bright idea that maybe I shouldn't be working on a truck in a white sweater...good thinking!

My contribution for the day was finished!
I wish I could tell you the name of that part that I worked on, but I can't...I could show you though...I will never forget!

This pretty much completed that days work.
Doesn't look like much, but it is, let me tell you!

This is so awesome! I'm glad it was able to be completed! You look so cute working on the truck! Do you have a future in mechanics? haha
